Big Sky Civil Constructors
Accountability, attention to detail, and safety are the principles that Big Sky Civil Constructors, Inc. bases its procurement and execution strategies on. We focus on bringing innovative ideas and safety to the heavy civil industry. Big Sky Civil Constructors, Inc. was formed in January 2017 by several construction industry professionals that had a common goal; to build quality work with quality people.
Our Team
Gary Wilson, P.E.
Principal
Mr. Wilson has worked in the construction industry for over 30 years, focusing on dams and reservoirs. Gary has experience in dam construction and rehabilitation, roller-compacted concrete, concrete construction, slurry trench cut-off wall construction, and project management/project estimating. Also heading up our business management and finance division, he is vital to the big-picture operations of Big Sky Civil Constructors, Inc.
Ryan Thiessen
President
Mr. Thiessen has been actively working in the construction industry for 20 years. Ryan is responsible for directing all phases of the project, from initial planning to completion. As a project manager/superintendent, his duties include project oversight, contracting, and estimating. Some of his project experience includes dam construction, concrete structures, and water treatment plants.
Peter Schultz
Project Manager
Mr. Schultz is a graduate of Montana State University College of Engineering and has been in the heavy civil industry since 2016. Peter is responsible for managing subcontractors, scheduling, estimating, change order management, project agreements, surveying, and oversees all onsite operations from start to finish.
Ross Thiessen
Project Superintendent
Mr. Thiessen has been in the concrete industry since 2007 and has completed several hydro/dam-related projects. Ross is responsible for managing day-to-day site activities, allocating resources, and solving problems related to concrete construction.
Kevin Rasulo
Project Engineer
Mr. Rasulo is a graduate of Binghamton University, State University of New York, and has been in the construction industry for several years. Kevin manages subcontractors, estimating, project agreements, tracking, quality control, and safety.
