Albion Dam Rehabilitation Project

Big Sky Civil will be performing this work in conjunction with Montana Civil Contractors out of Belgrade as Big Sky Civil Montana Civil JV. We look forward to working with our JV partner on another heavy civil project.
The Albion Dam is listed as a 'significant hazard dam' and the JV has been contracted to selectively demolish deteriorated parts of the 550' long arched concrete dam, rehabilitate the outlet works, divert water around the project, reconstruct both faces of the existing dam, raise the level of the dam by approximately 8', rehabilitate the existing valve house, and install new sluice gates.
The Albion Dam is located in steep, rocky terrain at 11,000 Ft above sea level. Access is limited from June to November.
